Panettone Maximo returns at the Salone delle Fontane all'Eur with its V Edition
“Panettone Maximo” returns on Sunday 3 December from 11.30am to 7.30pm with its V Edition of the National Artisan Panettone Festival at the Salone delle Fontane in the EUR area.
The most iconic and famous dessert of Italian Christmas is returning and how can we celebrate it if not with an event dedicated to it? The "best artisanal panettone in Italy" in the classic and chocolate categories will be chosen from among 42 pastry shops and bakeries that will participate in the competition from all over Italy, unlike previous editions which instead involved participation only at a regional level.
In addition to the competition, it will be possible to watch show cooking by starred Pastry Chefs, participate in the free tasting, visit the Christmas market and the Kids area for the little ones where they can meet Santa Claus and his Elves.
There will also be 4 other prizes awarded during the event: Best Packaging, Best Digital Communication, Foreign Press Award and Audience Award.
The cooking shows will be preceded, at 2.00 pm, by the "4 hands" between the ice cream maker Stefano Ferrara and the latte artist Fabiano Bucci, who will present an ice cream inspired by panettone and a cocktail based on milk and cream to match.
If you want to participate in this fantastic event, go to the website and book your tickets.
The cost is €20.00 per person. Entry is free for under 12s.
