During the days of 13 and 14 February, curators, archaeologists, and art historians will propose themed appointments for visits to museums and places in the city.
You can discover the story of the long love between Emperor Augustus and Livia in the Museum of Trajan's Markets; love encounters at the Casal de' Pazzi Museum; love at the time of the Risorgimento Revolution in the Museum of the Roman Republic and Garibaldi memory; the true story of Valentine's Day at the Museum of the Walls; the rediscovery of the ballroom of the Casino Nobile of Villa Torlonia; betrayals and passion of the Bonaparte-Primoli family in the Napoleonic Museum; intriguing events of the Torlonia family at the Museum of Rome and bestial loves at the Civic Museum of Zoology.
In the city center, there are many itineraries to relive the love stories of ancient Rome (two of them with an Italian sign language interpreter LIS), including the Circus Maximus, Ponte Milvio, the Teatro Marcello, the Valle delle Camene where the nymph Egeria and Numa Pompilio appear, through the Street Art of the Pigneto district, and knowing the fate of the spinsters and ill-married women who paraded in procession to receive the dowry through the Pigne district.
